Added a second Dinky 25K fire engine with firemen to a very large New Zealand Pre-War Dinky 25H collection.

Good to hear from you Richard, nice models and it's great to see the firemen.

Same here Richard, you have not been here for a while, but I know you were OK because you were posting on 'Planet Diecast', and yes, well done on securing a second example of one of the most collectible commercial vehicles from the Dinky stable and looking to be in pretty good condition, so good in fact I would not want to do too much to it except maybe a gentle clean with some 'WD 40' to help protect it from any air-bourne dampness in your display or storage area.
Just dampen a clean cloth and wipe the areas of the model including wheels, tyres and axles. You can get inside the model with a fine paint brush to attend to the firemen. If you have never done this on models before then do it to a beater for practice. If you are apprehensive about doing this because you feel putting liquid on a precious model is not right then do not do it and leave well alone, it is your model and the choice is yours, but don't lay in bed at night worrying about weather you should or shouldn't do it, just enjoy the model for what it is.
Thanks for showing it here.
GHOSTHUNTER.

Cheers for that, however the nice looking one was repainted by the previous owner when he was younger. He has had since new.
