Hi All,
Well these aren't small scale, but they are Diecast Vintage and British, so I thought I'd start a thread for these most wonderful models, I borrowed a Foden flat for a few weeks in the early '70's, and have loved them ever since, still haven't got one, but have the tipper and trailer, and so I really need a good flat lorry.

(Trailer box is a repro BTW)
I would love to see some more Shackleton's.........
Chris Warr.

If i could afford to, I would be collecting Shackleton models, they are superb.
The fact that they were designed to be taken apart and rebuilt gave then added play value. But they were a very expensive toy new, definately one that kept many Middle class children happy at Xmas. Unfortunately i wasn't one of them.

motorman...I find that very hard to believe you were never a middle class child, you certainly have not lost out to it, keep up your excellent posts, make me laugh all the while...

I really love the Shackletons but space is very tight, picture taken before they were packed away.
