32a Jaguar XK 140 color?

Post by mike »

These are my 32a Jaguar models.

Noticed this color difference on these models.

I took pictures with flash and without flash.

Wow, without the flash you can see a clear difference. Certainly three different colours and one shade difference. Well done Mike.

Cheers Steve

I hate to say this, but the bright white one looks like a repaint. The mask spray trim and the tail lights don't look right and there seems to be some play damage to the body that's under the paint. I also don't like all the paint on the rivets. About half of these models will easily pop off the base after a little play making it easy to restore (and possibly pass off as mint). I'm pretty sure that's a repainted Jag.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Never liked this model or sought to add it. Surprising as I like all the other Jags.
But I would love to add the bright white one - if it's genuine.
Thanks for pics.
