suspicious

I've been watching these since they were listed at first there was no base shots and all items had one bid
after I asked for base photos which the seller added today (last day of auction) the items have been withdrawn and the items remain unsold
what made me suspicious even before the extra photos was the amount of minty looking htf models from a new seller
dodgy bases seem to confirm my thoughts

Ditto. The combination of a clutch or rarities from someone with single digit feedback was bad enough, but the absence of a base shot for the 31c completely killed it for me.

All the above listed models look kosher to me according to the pics with no signs of any tampering.
Maybe u guys are suffering from Fake fever....
I do not see a problem receiving a Paypal invoice from any seller cos one still gets protection.

are you sure about being happy to pay someone who specifically asks NOT to be paid through ebay/paypal but wants to send an invoice to your email account this would be outside all protection offered by ebay and be almost impossible to get refunded by paypal

Hi Reg,im interested as always in what u say and it does make sense depending on the angle one chooses to look at this scenario.
However,if a seller and buyer agree to conclude via a Paypal invoice and not via Ebay Payment Option then its one and the same thing if the Paypal invoice clearly describes the goods with the Ebay listing details.Ive done this on numerous occasions. One could even Paypal any seller without receiving an invoice if u know him well. The seller will then mark your Ebay purchases as "Payment sent/Received" and u will no longer receive any Ebay notices/reminders as far as any outstanding amounts etc or any non-payment strikes.
As long as legitimate hard goods are being sold via a Paypal Invoice then one is protected against damage, fraud, not as described and non receipt but limited to certain countries.
Tinman or other sellers could elaborate.
