Thought some of you might like to see these. Nacoral Chiqui Cars doublesided leaflets. They're really fragile. I've managed to acquire a pair of them.
The other leaflet I acquired is for Minauto models of Yugoslavia. Struggling to find any info on these, and if you google Minauto, you get lots of stuff on the 1:1 Aixam Minauto Car. They'll all be on Ebay tonight if anyone is interested.

Very nice! Any indication if those Chiqui cars were 1/43 or 1/64 ?? I suspect 1/64 - the vhtf Fiat 124 and Morris 1100 have been shown online forums but never seen any of the others.Certainly this company did a 1/43 Mercedes 250SE but it is product no 100

'MEHANOTEHNIKA' was Yugoslavia's biggest toy producer and equivalent to somebody like 'METTOY' in the U.K. Their first factory opened in 1953 for the production of metal and plastic toys for Children, no models as yet. Another factory was built in Izola in 1953 and with proceeds from the previous year's sales, they obtained their own machinery. More success saw another factory open in 1959 and another in 1962 which became the main plant after 1971, for making 'Plush' toys.

Some of their early toys included large scale battery operated tinplate vehicles including a decent model of their home grown Lada and 'MECCANO' style building sets for making cranes etc.

During the Sixties, the company collaborated with the Yugoslavian education authority to produce educational toys that included plastic working telephones!

Other lines included model railway sets and model cars (possibly those 'MINAUTO' models on the leaflet), but they look familiar from somewhere else, so it's possible 'MEHANOTEHNIKA' were just marketing those cars from another company's range.

The 'NACORAL' Chiqui Cars were around the 1/43 scale, or that is what is shown on the baseplate, but they may not be that accurate like the 'QUIRALU' Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud with it's baseplate marked with 1/43 and it is not!

They're 1/43 ish. There's the Maserati online now. Seems cheap for a htf model.

Hadn't seen or heard of such plastic models but seem as though they might dismember themselves or disintegrate in the post.

Here is a coincidence, I have just been writing about similar models on another website and they are the same models as shown above as 'MINAUTO' and I was sure I had seen them before, long before I joined this forum and they are the same models.

Here are the facts...
'KDN' (KADEN) in the Czech republic made a range of models marketed as 'MINIAUTO' which included copies of 'POLYTOYS' and 'NOREV' models in 1/40ish scale during the 1970's.
'MEHANOTEHNIKA' in Yugoslavia must have contracted with 'KDN' to market the same models for their product line but as 'MINAUTO'.

The only difference being the dropping of one letter from the name!
