Not into plastic, never have been but these turned up in box. I know there're not british and not diecast, but thought perhaps they would interest someone :?

Its actually surprising just how many of these old plastic things survive here in Denmark, models of trucks many of us cant remember seeing in 1:1 . They dont make any serious money unfortunately for those who wish to sell them on and one local collector I know has a moving box full of mostly Czech mostly plastic cars and trucks of all sizes he wishes he hadnt bought.....

I bought a few of these when I was in Germany in 1992/3. The first item shown is a model of an East German IFA, a lorry which was still common on East German roads then. Not worth much now, but they weren't expensive at the time either. They make a nice souvenir of my time in Germany, and all fit into one small box for easy storage.

I still have a soft spot for those East Bloc vehicles, which presumably is shared by others judging by the number of 1/43 part-work models available now.

Hi all,
Really do like these, I had a few Wiking plastic trucks years ago, and always thought they were wonderful. I worked in the former East Berlin just after the wall came down, and remember seeing some lovely (Chinese?) tinplate lorries and buses in the toy shops I wish I had bought a few now.
