A recent find on Ebay UK from Leslie Duplock.
This was one of the 25 items in the box Bob took for me to Sandown.

Box was not to good condition but lovely promotional item.















Text on the brass plate in dutch shows a address in Antwerp Belgium:

I presume around 1975?

Hello Marcel, very nice promotional 'Giftware' model you have aquired.

It would appear from the pictures to be a 'Gold' Y-10 from the 1971-72 production period (with the large brake levers mounting point), fitted onto the 'Onyx' base and marketed as a 'Single Pen' stand on catalogue number, 32-10G.

The gold effect sticker on the box allows for the alternative type to be put in the same box, the 'Double Pen' stand and all they had to do is put the appropiate sticker on the front panel of the box.

This particular set appears to be from late 1971, as it does not appear in all 'Giftware' catalogues for that year and fits-in with the version of Silver Ghost used.

I can not give you any information about the description on the separately applied 'ALFI' brass effect panel.
