66 ford Transit

Post by Dr Jazz »

I have seen so many of these, but never noticed witch ones are rare. The normal one is dark orange, unpainted base and green windows.

I have seen one i light orange with black base is that rare?

It is rarer rather than the unpainted base variant but not HTF.......if that answers your question.

This one also has variations with amber windows and olive green interiors. These ones are the hardest I think. I have one with both amber windows/olive interior - I've not seen another like it. The olive interior can be tricky to spot with the green windows, unless you can see the towhook.

The orange comes in many shades, and the green windows also come in different shades, ranging up to a very dark green. The orange/yellow with black base is uncommon.

The loads also come in different shades, as do the labels on them.

So, lots of variations to collect, and one of my favourites among the late Lesney models.

Cheers,
Gavin
