My Matchbox toys book to date:
The early Lesney toys chapter is done and I have photographed Gary Galvins awesome collection of early Lesney toys for the illustrations,
As of this evening I am halfway through chapter 2 the 1-75 series regular wheels and should be finished fairly soon.
The cover design has been completed, This was done by the publishers Shire.
I am a little concerned that long time collectors might be disappointed with the lack of information it contains as it is only a 64 page booklet but I hope to rectify this with a second publication "Collecting the Matchbox 1-75 series" but lets see how this book goes first.
The cover has reference to the Batmobile, This was a mistake by the publishers and will be rectified before publication.
