So these trains are all vintage Hornby just a small amount of a fair size collection. We don't know if they still work as we cannot try them but we'll see I guess at some point:

WOW! just love those trains (sorry forum members, I am a train geek as well!). The first one you see in your first picture, the tinplate 0-4-0 Saddle Tanker, looks like it is an 'O GAUGE' model making it compatible with 1/43rd scale car models, and these tend to do well at Auction houses, but it is something I would never sell, this should be treasured and maybe passed on to your own children one Day.

The others are not too clear as to their individual identities, but I think one has hole in the side for a clockwork key. Pictures of the undersides would be handy and I'll try and identify all of them for you.

GHOSTHUNTER.

The large 0-4-0 is Hornby 'O' gauge as stated. not a saddle tank though. Pannier tanks.
The 0-6-2 is a Hornby Dublo 3 rail system tank loco.
The clockwork Gresley is a pre-war Hornby. A tender was also available for this.
The electric Sir Nigel Greseley is by Wren. also came with a tender.

I put these up just to show them for now. These are only 4 of a rather large collection and my mum is looking to sell them at auction at some point. The clockwork toys may or may not have keys as we're finding keys separately at the moment.

When we've been through everything, hopefully we'll have all the keys that fit everything clockwork in the various collections. I'll likely post more up so watch this space.
