Looks like the end for Misterpops Ebay page.

Post by misterpop »

Well after a month of vertualy no sales its down to the last 5 listings from a hundred and no bids.Last thing to sell was a Cranberry jug a couple of weeks back..However a great time to buy except nearly everythings on a buy it now.

The Auction fun and excitment part has completley gone from what was for me a great hobby and a way of supplimenting my pension when I retire later this year...Castings are to be had for the taking and spare parts are easy to buy outright so its not too bad for people like us who see a pony at the bottom of every pile of shit .......Anyone else having a lean time?.

Wham!?

Your page could be up for a very long time if you are waiting to sell that! :)

August is ALWAYS my quietest month of the year. 9000'ish items online, and we've sold just 5 in 24hrs.
So I do like everyone else in the country and go on holiday.

However I find August is a good time to buy too, Busman's holidays are very common here!!! :D

I wouldnt mind betting its never been this quiet.......You have obviously put a lot of effort into all your listings it must be very depressing to see the slowing down of sales....I love a bit of buying and have a wide range of targets but since packing in the toyfairs I have found it distressing to see piles of boxes of stock that could be being put to good use elsewhere,And the fact we are down sizeing dosnt make it any easier.

Case is worth a tenner on its own. And I haven't seen a yellow TR7 cj for a long while.
