took a chance on this oddity last second bid off my phone so couldn't make out the axle ends clearly but cheap enough
any thoughts ,hopefully it will arrive soon and I can get some close up pics so you can all have a laugh at my old man eyes
expecting it to be fake as there are so many field cars around with these wheels

Watch for drilled wheels on this one. The lighter color around the smaller axle end got by me at first, but I again was only looking at the original factory spun axle end on this Havester with excitement. The variation would be a Great discovery, but detective Numi has made us wary of this type modification being used to create 'rare' wheel variations at great expense to her. I hope I am wrong, because the Alvis green plastic wheel color and tone is correct, as well as that factory axle end. The Field Car with green wheels is very rare to find, so I would rather call the green ones the common 61 Alvis wheels. Good luck and fingers crossed for you on this one Fixer......kwakers

if it arrives in time i'll take it to huntingdon and see what Tim thinks , same as you Dick I only looked at the axles

If the wheels have been drilled, they will be very loose on the axles and be crooked on the toy. By the photos the Harvester sits well, but you will know more when you get it. kwakers

well it arrived today as Kwakers said they are alvis wheels which are smaller than the normal yellow ones
to me the axle ends look good and compare well to my standard one there does not appear to be any deforming to the axles behind the wheels
the wheels are a tight fit around the axle and show no sign of being forced on ,there is light playwear consistent with the rest of the model
any thoughts please

Hi Reg,please add a few clear close-ups of just the both axle ends and the view of the axles entering the hubs.Also the rear view of the hubs.
