I received this model last week, have been after this 71a code 1 for a while in Mint condition. The seller said he would only post to the USA so I emailed him to see if he would post to Australia, He would but he would have to charge me $10.00 postage, but if it was less than that he would refund the difference to me. At that price I said I was quite happy to pay the $10.00.
Here is the model received the postage was actually $11.40.

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hello Brad, looking at the Code 2 base plate I wonder if they made another dye, or just or if the just had some one with a pair of cutters to cot the corners of as they do not look very symmetrical on the corners, what do you think? Yes this Code 1 base plate does not seem to come up to often, also is the hole on the Water Tank on your Code 2 filled in as mine shows, suppose it was done so as not to loose all the water from the Tank
