Bits and Bobs

Quite why one of my in-laws who resides in this beautiful part of the country has decided to get married in Gretna Green is beyond me. However, as I look on a holiday as an opportunity to do something totally different to normal I'm actually quite looking forward to 3 days of driving and 2 nights spent at a Welcome Break service area and now that my wife and daughter have discovered the existence of Gretna Shopping Village they are happy too............

This lot won't be listed in the etsy shop until I get back next week so if you see anything you fancy PM me and I'll reply when I get back. I should say if I get back, having just had an entire month of car trouble thanks to my Vauxhall's particulate filter clogging up - they can't blame urban driving in this instance!

First up are these very clean Tuf-Tots and a lone Dinky Dublo Bedford unit

As you may have guessed, the cleanliness of the Tuf-Tots is due to their previous life on a model railway (unfortunately no Lesney), so there are also some plastic HO models
I think the Magirus and the buses are Wiking, there's 2 Marklin Ford Taunus 12Ms, the Landy is a kit built Anguplas Mini Car, and the other 3 are Norev copies from Kader

I love the plastic. My wife is a huge collector of plastic always looking to expand her collection.

Hi Ewan,
Nice models!
You are right with the busses and the Magirus, they were made by Wiking.
My father collects Wiking, so I'am a bit familiar with it.
Very nice busses! And while I'am searching for the Matchbox "Hoch und Tief" lowloader, completing my set, you should go and find a trailer for the Magirus :D

Happy collecting,
Linus
