George,
Try looking a message before the last message Dick sent. For some odd reason, my messages have been going wonky as well. I was wondering if it was due to it being a long thread, I might have to try starting ongoing conversations in a new email.

I tried that, but it is now it is in my IN BOX as message history, I think I will stick to Emails in future.
My pm to kwakers (Dick) was only about a third of the pm he sent to me.

I did get your second PM without a problem tonight George. Perhaps when you hit the 'submit' button on the original PM, it didn't send it out. I sometimes change screens thinking I sent out my PM, only to have to backspace 15 times to find it and re-send it. I somehow skipped an E Bay message yesterday, but these PMs at the Forum have gone well for me lately. I'll send your 50,000 in unmarked small bills George, OOPS, I meant to send that in a PM......LOL

When typing a new PM/messg or replying to an earlier PM/messg and when ure ready to send,Click on SUBMIT and u will find that this messg/page wont go thru the first time but the new 2nd page that appears will show your very typed messg as "Subject (whatever topic) Preview".This allows us a Preview so that additions can be made or errors can be corrected (sort of Editing). When totally satisfied with the layout and wording, come back down to the bottom of the email/messg and Click again on SUBMIT and Bob's your uncle!
Works for me but always be safe and copy these messgs before sending just in case.

That kind of explains why sometimes we have double messages Numi. I know at LeFora we always had a preview page to correct errors and look over our Novels, I didn't ever realize we could sometimes be shown that feature here. I'll watch for it and my Uncle Bob from now on......LOL

Hello Dick, I had shown Triple messages but you only received one even then none of them showed up in my out box, or sent box either. Then when you replied to me it said there were no new messages, I just looked in to make sure and there was your one to me.

It seems now George that maybe something is wrong with the alert we see here for new messages on your side. Mine is accurate and still working well, but if I have multiple messages, 2 or more, once I have read one of them it does not show the others as 'new messages' anymore. The Forum system assumes we have read all of our 'new messages' all at once, not like E Bay's better system of showing each unread message individually in bold print until we have read it. I know this is the case here, so I check my PMs daily to make sure I have in fact read them all, and answered them if needed. kwakers

Dick,
just to be sure - did you get my message regarding the Macungie meeting?

Oh yes, I sure did Kay! I have now changed jobs just earlier today, so have been sidetracked in answering you back. I look forward to the Macungie Auchtsfest Toy Show, and maybe popping out for a pizza locally, or perhaps a drive over to Hoss', a Chinese Buffet, or maybe even Ci Ci's Pizza Buffet up near Allentown with you and your Penn. friends if you are available. There used to be in room trading/selling years ago on Friday at a local Motel, but I never seem to find that out in advance now. Since they downsized the outside vendors across the street from the High School on Saturday, it has been an uphill battle to work the Toy Show back up to the size it used to be in the 1990s. E Bay is now keeping many vendors online and away from local Sales Tax people checking their stalls for their tax info. They recently had a small lot on Main Street that was used 2 or 3 years for outdoor Mom and Pop Toy dealers that I also really enjoyed shopping at. This June I was down to an Antique Truck Show at the same Park in Macungie, and now see that Main Street lot was locked and now filled with Brand new Mack Trucks awaiting shipment. The old outdoor toy lot across from the Macungie School is now pretty much developed as a church with parking areas and landscaping.......Piss on the green treehuggers! I miss that outdoor part of the best Toy Show that I have enjoyed attending since it was started in the stone building in the Park in 1970.........kwakers
