from the same flee market vendor as the blue 51b barrels came these unused vw camper suspension inserts part of a large amount of these 50 plus at a guess stamped with the same mould details as the base shown they have axles which appear to be made out of a thicker gauge steel also the wheels are like nothing I have seen before they are also a smaller diameter
on his stall he also had several unused castings with unspun rivets comprising of sf yy & speedking all of which I bought ,also there was a large amount of plastic pieces yy seats sf wheels and quite a few #33 motorcycle front forks with and without wheels fitted ,on asking where he got them he could only say that the entire lot came from another stall holder at a different market who didn't deal in diecast
I've addd the rolls because I am not aware of this colour grill only black and it was from the same stall
there's a lot of pics hope they all upload

Re: blue barrel vendor
I can only comment on the YY's. The Y16 Mercedes body looks standard as does the Y3 Riley. Just unused components. Look as though they fell down the back of one of the machines and sat there for a while!
The Y 10 Rolls has colour trial bright red seats and grille. Some also had a bright red steering wheel.
Riley and Rolls are early '70's, Merc is late '60's.

Thanks for the info on the rolls explains why I hadn't seen one before even with my complete lack of yy knowledge I thought there was something different about it, just to add a note both the seats are loose and the rear one has been stuck in at some point, the steering wheel seems to be shorter too also the hand brake /tyre carrier doesn't look like it has been fixed at any time ie no obvious damage to the fixing hole to show if it has come off

Re: blue barrel vendor
Hello Reg, can you keep the 'Yesteryear' Rolls handy and bring it to the next toy fair we attend together, I would like to have a closer look at it.

Re: blue barrel vendor
This vendor has been a good source lately apart from these pieces and the blue barrels I got the 2 vw campers with filler caps the orange one with reversed wheel, mira strecha fetcha copy, 36c with grey engine, blue back stake truck and a very played with stingeroo with chrome forks not to mention quite a few more common SF and rw, just wish I knew which other markets he trade's at as most of his stock is brought to him via other non diecast fleemarket traders
