A wonderful selection of models. Thank you for showing us. There is one variation on the tipper not shown.
In the early play sets from 1972, the tipper that came with one of the sets never had the labels applied. This is obviously an easy one to fake!

Seen a few with Douglas labels, but never one I thought was the real deal. Still unsure if genuine examples of that exist.

Vectis have sold a few with the Douglas , in fact Rob had one for sale at his auction back in 2012..........as for wether this variation is genuine i could not say for sure!!!

Yeah, a friend of mine bought that one and returned it. I have bought 2 from well respected UK sellers and returned them both. It has been my experience the hinge pins always look dodgy. The owner of the one pictured on Christians site tells me he is sure it is a label swap. Curious if anyone has one they think is genuine? -David
