Dis anyone on the Forum win this lot?
The main photograph appears to show a metallic blue 42b Studebaker, as catalogued by the NAMC (but by no one else!). I did ask the seller for photographs of the Studebekaer, but he ignored me.
Anyone Win This?
Re: Anyone Win This?
Here are cropped photographs from the listing. As you can see, the first one appears to show a metallic blue Studebaker, but this is less apparent in the other two:
Re: Anyone Win This?
I had never heard of a Met Blue Studebaker. This specimen does somewhat show a metallic finish or could it be the angles and lighting?

Re: Anyone Win This?
Bob has/ had this model in his collection that was listed as light metallic blue in 1973, so that expensive odd model still exists somewhere. I would tend to call the model you show in this Post a dark blue rather than the lighter shade used on these Studes, so I doubt it was similar to the light metallic blue model Bob own (s), (ed). I see the strange looking color in the one picture Idris, but as you say the other two show closer to a stock Stude color than that one. kwakers

Looks like a standard version in the darkest shade to me - 2 dark spots on the roof are signs to me its a 2 coats of blue candy coat over the usual pale blue primer.Photo is grainy
