5b Double Decker Bus, issued 1957, length 57mm, box type B.
5c Routemaster (AEC), issued 1960, length 66mm, box types B-C and D.
5d Routemaster (AEC), issued 1965, length 70mm, box types E and F.




With and with-out # plate recess.


An odd one a 5b model with a 5a label on it, this is both sides.




Metal wheels and GPW.




Gold and Silver trim, Gold trim applied by hand, Silver trim by masked spray.




Please note the #5b bus only came in type "B" boxes not as shown by me.

Not a variation I was aware of, but it seems plausible to me.

I love the idea of this unknown variation George, it is a nice example you have shown us! It does make sense that Lesney may have used up stocks of the early labels early on, but yours is the first I have ever seen with them. Can any other Forum members show us a second example of the 5B using early 5A labels instead of their later larger decals we all know so well? kwakers
