My latest purchase(s)

It's been awhile since I bought anything - but I recently bought a pile of models locally. The middle aged owner was downsizing and wanted to get rid of this stuff, and I wanted a few things in the lot. However, I had to buy it all - he wouldn't break it up. Excuse the pics, was losing light, and didn't have time to unbox it all, but I think it's all there Some of the highlights:

This is different:

Lots of 1980-90 era loose, not much value, but cars I remember as a child:

I really wanted these Tomicas, and the Majorette 604 and CX. All loose vehicles are mint, which is nice.

But, to get what I wanted, I had to take mundane low value stuff like this:

And this menagerie:

Oh yeah, this vintage NZG Porsche is pretty cool too:

And there's more common stuff I won't bore you with. I hope to sell off what I don't want to pay for what I do want.

The Impy Chrysler Imperial is the best model from their entire range imho & the NZG range of 911s are the best 911 toys ever with their fine detailed opening parts. Any cars with ´´Made in Hong Kong ´´ baseplates in the lot you bought?
Those Mini Tech cars are surprisingly well made and neatly packaged to look like Corgis to Asian buyers not used to reading western letters - I have only seen their cars painted red so far, one colour for all models!!

The Impy will probably be one of the keepers, as it is now the only boxed Impy I have. The NZG is pretty cool too, might be tough to part with, although it is outside of the era I collect.

The Matchbox RX-7 and 280Z have Hong Kong bases.

I had never seen MiniTech cars before. The spring loaded features are pretty cool - not the finest castings, but they have a charm.
