Post by jimgallegos »

I love these models. THey are over 30 years old and all have different license plates. Am I the only one who collects these?

I am thinking they might have been limited in distribution. They are really pretty ugly but I remember them as being fun and having a common rear tail light set.

Here is a rather comprehensive page that I found, with further info and details on these models and their history.

I had a bunch of these as a kid. One of my relatives bought me a group of them. I guess in hindsight she was smart since back then I had pretty much all the Matchbox and by doing these she avoided getting me doubles. I think I still have a few of them in one of my older boxes, they would all be playworn now though.
