To start with, I am very kindly borrowing the pictures originally posted by Nick of the large resin based master model of #69c, the Rolls-Royce drop-top. It is just wonderful to look at and it's a shame more of these have not come forward into collectors circles.

Its interesting to note the 'RESIN' has a boot design very close to the actual car, but on full production models, the boot component was borrowed from #24c, the Silver Shadow saloon.

Have you also noticed the side artwork...it is showing a Left Hand Drive car! the petrol filler-flap is correct for cars in the UK, so the artwork has not been flipped over!

I have recently posted the picture below (model with pale yellow baseplate), in responce to rivet designs and its interesting to note the types of rivet available on the one model. This is due to the length of time a model is in production and Lesney upgrading their production process.

The other picture of #69c rivets shows two more designs on early versions of the model.

This Silver Spirit has a very accurately applied label advertising 'SUNWAY ROLLER BLINDS' and they have cleverly linked the word 'ROLLERS' (their product), and 'ROLLER' (the car), together. Date of issue will likely be tied to when this version of the model was launched, in this case, 1988-89.

I have been waiting a long time to get my 'Superfast' #24c on the forum, so here is a group picture of them. I think they are all there, but I was surprised to see only one 'Beater' model.

They are positioned in a similar style to my #69c 'Drop-Top' Rolls-Royce models, two lines to signify two body castings with the narrow wheel versions (7 of them), nearest the Camera, the red areas before the models, are where the 'Regular Wheel' versions would go.

This is a 'Prelimanary' line-up and subject to some minor repositioning of the first couple of wide wheeled models, but gives you some idea of how many can be collected.

One model missing is the PINK baseplate version, it has been mislaid (along with another #69c with a strange small windscreen), so I may have to buy another pink one to replace it.
