Hello SMS88, I had the Ironside Van when it was first launched and of course it was played with, but I used to play with them very carefully so while they were removed from blister card, the models were still in mint condition and because I used to look after my toys, my father would treat me every weekend to another new toy from the big 'CO-OP' Superstore we had in our town at the time.

In the mid 1980's, I was a trader at toy fairs and I sold the model (my beloved Ironside Van for £25!), Wow I thought, this is it, I've hit the big-time!

I was not aware at that time, that the model would be so sought-after, now of course, I wish I still had it... :x

Yeh!, it was, I've got about 13p left, when that's gone, I'm broke, but it lasted well, I like to be thrifty with my money!

Don't worry, I hear that Marmaduke has a couple of gold crowns! You could easily extract them and pawn then for £50. That should cover breakfast at the Dorchester tomorrow!!
