The Model #s

Post by kerbside »

Hello Motorman, I thought that you had taken over the mantle to put the new # on each week, so as to keep this section going.

As looking at it at the moment it is starting to look like a dogs dinner, so please carry on with the model #s.

Hello George. As a 'Site Admin' member, are you in a position to re-arrange the postings by "Motorman" and myself to put them in order, because as you have probably noticed, my 'Re-posts' are in order from number #6 onwards, but then "Motorman" will do a couple and then I'll do another one and of course they are presented in a disjointed order, this wasn't planned of course, its just how it happens when two members are posting in the same thread, your thoughts on this please.

I think you'll find that the threads within an area are sorted by the date of the most recent post in each thread, thereby ensuring that the active threads are at the top of the first page.

My intention was to post model numbers from #41 onwards as i was aware that many of the lower numbers had been covered on BEFORA and Ghosty was trying to recover would he could image wise to add the lower model numbers. It is a bit of a dogs breakfast however i think the circumstances of the old Forum closing, Naji going AWOL and Johnny Pimp not able to regularly post for his own reasons, it was inevitable that this would happen.

I will post the next model number this weekend. #44 if i am not mistaken.

Ghosty

We appear to have two casting shows now for #9 which is probably my fault because i started a new one a few weeks ago without realising that this model number had been covered on the old forum by Johnny Pimp. I would have thought that the images you saved from the old forum could have just been added onto the end of the post i started or Vice Versa?

Perhaps Nick or one of the other site administrators could resolve this by amalgamating Ghosties new #9 post with the one i started so that we only have the one #9 cast show.

Nick can you help??

Yes, thank's Hugh, I had not noticed what "Motorman" has pointed out about #9 casting being doubled-up.

No problem Kev. Despite the Casting show looking a little messy I think it is more important that we have some content on the cast show than nothing at all, and for a short time there it had started to stagnate.

Next model number this weekend #44

Hooray!

Thanks to Alex, Ghosty, George and Hugh for their efforts on the superfast casting show. So many amazing models photographed, it's awesome. I hope to find time to contribute more of my own SF collection. Perhaps I can aim to start with some #44 models.

Cheers,
Gavin
