Saturday May 17th was the Kalamazoo Toy Show. Nearly a 300 mile journey from the Cincinnati area but my wife and I set out in the rain on Friday night. Lynn is from Kalamazoo so that made it a bit easier sell! It proved to be two large rooms full of tables and dealers. Not a huge abundance of vintage Matchbox Toys but between two dealers I managed to find four variations to bring home. One of them was this 7B Anglia. It took me forever to find an example with the "No. 7" flush with the base. On Saturday I found a second example and this one with gray plastic wheels!

Very nice and using those uncommon fine tread gpw that were made alongside the fine tread bpw usually matched to this late modification to the base tooling!

Nice find. Fine gpw 7b is one on my list, they always go for more than I am willing to spend on ebay.
