Hi all. Can any of our American members identify who made this bulldozer, it came from the US so we're assuming it was made in the US, It is pictured next to a lesney large scale caterpillar crawler so I guess it is about 6 inches long, cheers

I'm just guessing, but it could be Hubley. I have a large die cast crane made by them and it also has wooden rollers for the treads/tracks (BTW, my crane is huge compared to anything Matchbox).

I am pretty sure the Hubley ones all have "Hubley" cast into the sides of the hood.

Hi Dave, The crawler is a Benbros, I got it from the last Brentwood fair, £3...
Thanks to all those that answered, It certainly does look like a Hubley except for it does not have the name cast on the hood sides, The wooden rollers are also correct for a Hubley but they don't normally go the full width of the bulldozer, I'm wondering if it could be a very early Hubley?, Interesting anyway, Lets see if there are any more opinions,

I have looked at, and in fact played with many toy Bulldozers in my days, but I have never seen one with full width wooden rollers on it before. I did a ten page look last night online, and did not see this style rollers on any other toys, so I suspect a smaller foreign non- U.S. maker. (??) Joe didn't mention whether his Crane had full width rollers, I know the Hubleys I played with had standard width narrow wooden style ones on them.
What an interesting, but not so realistic toy. A very tiny spot on the left front is the only sign of possible rubber treads ever wearing on the side paint of the model, so I really am left to wonder if this Dozer ever had them fitted at all. Could some Dad have fitted these 'Custom' rollers for use on a carpeted floor rather than the dirt, or are the axle ends original? (Could it be a Fake variation Nick.....LOL!!!)
