Hi,

while sorting some models I found my #15 Fork Lift Trucks. Please have a look on the fork.(right one)

Is this the result of a dirty or worn mould? Or is there a variation with a textured fork?

Have a nice weekend,
Linus

Hello Sir_Matchbox_96, It looks like there was a problem with the plastic injection process with your textured grey forks component. Either the wrong mix of plastic granules or the wrong temperature and because this component would have been one of maybe four identical parts on a main sprue, there should more like this out there, waiting to be discovered!

Thank's for bringing it forward and showing it here on the forum.

GHOSTHUNTER.

Thank you for your quick answer Ghosthunter.

It is not a beautiful model but it is very interesting. There are a lot of variations. (base-colour, fork-colour, wheeltypes, different labels...and so on)

I should pay more attention to it :)

Greetings,
Linus

This is one of my Fav's I have 5 different ones. 1st is fork colour , black, grey and yellow, then its boom, being yellow or silver, plus you get long and short . I have 1 one that just about doesn't fit in the box as the boom is way to long , which now gives the model bent forks.. Due to the way it sits in the box.

That pic above looks to me like when its come out of the mould someone has handled it and they are finger prints?..
I will have a hunt next raining day and see if I have one like that.
