Very pleased to have picked this one up, initial thoughts were a repaint but as can be seen a mix and match of parts. Few parts missing but I must have a donor model somewhere.

Interesting as usual Jason. Not seen the post '73 model with a white base/chassis before.

Hi Bob,
The whole model seems a bit odd to me, the side lights are not reinforced so the top half is very early.
Maybe just a lot of bits again that were assembled together.
Thanks for the interest, no one seems to bothered about these ones but I love them.

I like them, but someone always seems to beat me to them.
Your radar is infinitely more finely tuned than mine obviously.

This one was in a group of models that had been listed 3 times. I eventually gave in and bought them out of curiosty, so luck played a very big part
on this one. J

Should not have a Y No. on the base. This one was when the central boss was enlarged (lengthened) to accommodate the extra rivet, forcing the deletion of the Y No. from it's position in the centre of the base plate, but before it re-appeared in front of the back axle.

Yes quite right Bob, also has the slot for the spare wheel instead of the fully open recess. J
