It is with much sadness to report our friend Wolfie Ginsburge passed away on Saturday 17th May, and as a forum friend, I feel very privileged he contributed to two topics I instigated and a third topic he instigated on the back of my 'Matchbox Made Dinky Toys' topic, this thread here and sadly it will not be finished, I don't know how many more models he was due to post here and I don't collect the same models, so I will not be able to carry on his good work.

If a forum member would like to carry on with this thread and post the remaining models to completion, I would then be very happy knowing that we were able to finish something started by Wolfie.

Thank you.

GHOSTHUNTER.

It looks like Antonin has a fairly large collection of these, lets see if he can complete the listing, He is away working at the moment.

It will be a great honor to continue the Wolfie´s work (please, send me only the alphabetical order of the models, so I did not interrupt the started rule)

Hi Antonin.
I think Wolfie was doing them numerically. So whatever comes after 37619 would be next ?.

I looked into "The Encyklopedia of Matchbox Toys" from Charlie Mack and there is no DYM 37620, the next one is DYM 37622 1968 Volkswagen Beetle "Budweiser"

Some years ago I compiled a listing for the Dutch Yesteryear Club.

If you go to the site here:

http://www.duco.demon.nl/nyc/database.html

Then click database and you see all the nbrs used during the Collectible period for Yesteryear models and Dinky/Retail models based on Moy castings.
You can click on those nbrs to see the pictures of each.

Hope this helps.
