Re: fire spotter plane
This is what I know
The K112/2 Peterbilt Fire Spotter Plane transporter was made in England. it is easily identifiable as the cab is plane red with 23 on the cab roof and the front wheels don't steer
K134/1 Peterbilt was a modified version. The cab is red and white (as yours is), it has 12 on the roof and the front wheels steer. I only have one made in Macau, but wouldn't be at all surprised if later models were made in China
You can see both of mine have red planes with different labels
Later, in the "Emergency" series, they issued the plane on its own in silver (as yours is) in a box, opened on one side, numbered EM-50.
Unfortunately mine is packed away
Once again I wouldn't be surprised if some of these silver planes found their way onto K134s.
The plane was also used on the K128 DAF Aircraft transporter - I have versions made in both Macau and China
