A printable Nick guide?

I know this issue has come up before, however I don't recall the answer. Anyway, I have an older pal who refuses to join the computer age. I would very much like to get him a hard copy of Nicks guide, provided Nick doesn't object of course. Even just the variation portions would be great, but the idea of printing out 1 at a time what must be hundreds of printed pages in not an option. Has anyone figured this out?

I've figured out that your friend needs to get online. There's really no excuse in today's world.

A seven inch tablet should be all that he needs, Then he not only gets my site but ebay and vectis and all the rest too.
I am thinking about publishing a collectors guide to the 1-75 series but that will be next year at the earliest and probably 2016 in reality.

Easier said than done. He was a big time collector in the days of Colpets, Kwackers and Jesus. I am pretty sure he hasn't bought anything in years and years. All efforts thus far have failed, but I haven't visited him in awhile and will try again when I see him next.

Can you take your tablet/laptop etc and show him a little taster of Nick's listings, the forum, ebay etc, and show him some of the advantages? It might help him decide.

Perhaps a simple snail mail letter out of the kwakers Cave would help a bit, he and I had probably swapped models years ago. Having the Tablet 'In Hand' is a Great Idea as suggested above by Johnboy. Nick's Site along with all you Great Forum members as friends has made the last 6 years the BEST in collecting, save for those trips spent with our family hunting toys in the 60s and 70s. What a Great New World there is with a computer at hand, and Caveman kwakers agrees with Tinman completely, but the process is critically slow for snail mail collectors to digest. Once the message sinks through our abnormally thick skulls, even we old 'AIM' and 'NAMC' Bible toters can be swayed around by the use of both Nick's site, and also the Forum as the irreplaceable resources they have become. Hats off to you Chris, and Best of Luck in that worthwhile adventure.......kwakers

Dick, I'm a fair bit older than you and if I can do it (and you can do it) so can he. For someone not to know how to use a computer today, it would be like not knowing how to read & write 30 years ago.
