The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (first edition), the AIM “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983), and Stannard do not contain any variations not already listed by Nick. U.K. Matchbox did not examine the model. Houghton's code 2 is Nick's code with black tyres. However, since the tyres can be easily switched between models, this may or may not be a genuine factory variation.
The late casting variation current;y being discussed here does not feature in my NAMC listing which only goes up to 69-2-e. I therefore assume that mine must be a first edition, and so would be grateful if owners of second edition NAMC catalogues could check them against these summaries for me. (I think that probably means you, Dick!
