Hi all, I'm sure I'm not the only one here...don't you just hate it when you think you got it covered and at the last second someone out bids you

I have been looking for a No.20C in the lemon yellow W/cream interior for more than 3 years (maybe this is not long) and have bought more then 30 and not one is lemon yellow then I even bought one from s.beach that was listed as a lemon yellow and again when it showed up is was "NOT" I come across this one...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251488097814?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT... and place a bid with esnipe for 301.01 and think I got it covered and come to find out "NOT"

Well I hope one day I will own one. I guess I just need to keep looking...please if anyone has one for sale or know's of one "HELP"

Hi Gpw,these Lemon-Yellow Chevs are really hard to come by.Collectors pay top $$$ for specimens in any condition.I know of one that sold for $700 and wasnt even Mint.
Mine in a blister is safely tucked away.
I would certainly alert u when i come across another.

The lemon yellow Taxis were not hard to come by in our area at all, but possibly the ones with white interiors were. I believe the lemon yellows were in fact the last ones shipped to our local stores, so we had them unsold for quite a while when the popular SF Lamborghini Marzal took their place in 1969. Quite interesting what has become 'rare' today. I had even advised early last year that this variation was nothing special. It appears I was dead wrong on the one in lemon yellow with white interior, even though I have never put any special value on ours at all. kwakers

It is distinctly the white interior that sets this body color variation in a class of it's own. Plenty of red interior, lemon yellow variants out there.

Hi numi, thanks any help is appreciated
Alexdundee, I think if you would have listed them with a code and stated that they were "Lemon" yellow you would have got much more for them if in deed they are the Stannard code 10 or 11
kawakers, I have the Stannard code 12 and 13 these are much easier to come by and if the code 10 or 11 are easy to find in your neck of the wood's then send one over
Joe, your right on the money " white interior"
Thanks
