I am writing an article on the K15 bus range and would love to use a picture of the rare Royal Iran Visit 1979 model. I have seen pictures of this bus in the UK Matchbox Club magazine edited by Ray Bush (v.4 No. 1, April 1980), the 40th Anniversary book (Chapter 9, written by Wolfie Ginsburg in 1989) and The Toy and Model Bus Handbook, written by Roger Bailey in 1996. Also, I remember that a picture was posted on the old Lefora forum but I can't now remember by who (perhaps it was Wolfie?).

The UK Matchbox article also show a picture of the back of the box.

I would not take pictures from other sources without permission and so am asking if anyone here who has an example, could let me have a few pictures to use?

There were, according to Roger Bailey, only 8 made, so it would also be fun to see how many are in collections of members here!

Never seen one in the metal,they havent come up for sale at any bus rallies i have attended but have seen thousands of standard red ones and probably hundreds of Jubilee + Royal Wedding versions over the decades!

Sorry Martin I lost original ones on other forum so done for you again. I did them quick so if you would like better pics just email me. It is quite a rare beastie and sadly I don't have the correct box for it but Wolfie probably has.
