Two nominally code 5's, see differences in rear door hinge braces.

Re: 15c - Tippax refuse collector
Hi Tandyfan, there's a few of mine here, including three different arm thicknesses. We spent a while looking at these on Befora and I think Antonin had some updates too.

Re: 15c - Tippax refuse collector
Nice photos Tandyfan and John. These Tippax changes need to be discussed once more to firm up which hinges are found on each of Nick's codes along with some other details we discussed. Has anyone here got an archive copy of the discussions of these details we had on Lefora?? I still have all mine out since those discussions in the hopes I could supply George an uncoded version I may have spares of. Too many updates, and not enough time in life.........kwakers

As John mentioned it, it was nice discussion on Lefora approx. 2 years ago. I am adding a short summary:
1) there are three different arms
a) thin arms § thin brace
b) thin arms § thick brace
c) thick arms § thick brace

Re: 15c - Tippax refuse collector
we have discussed also different variations of the models without vent hole, as I remember there are:
a) variation with BPW ø10x24, without vent hole, thin arm § thin brace
b) variation with BPW ø10x24, without vent hole, thin arm § thick brace
c) variation with BPW ø11x45, without vent hole, thin arm § thin brace
d) variation with BPW ø11x45, without vent hole, thin arm § thick brace
Unfortunatelly I have only 3 variations , I think the fourth has George (Kerbside)

Re: 15c - Tippax refuse collector
It's not easy getting back into this thread. The table above doesn't include the medium thickness arm and I was wondering whether it would be better to classify the arms by the thickness (as viewed from behind) and then by the brace which is better described as wide/long and narrow/short? Does that make sense?Diecast wrote:Hi Dickkwakers wrote:Nice photos Tandyfan and John. I was luck enough to pickup another very cheap code 1 the other day and it shows two brace differences on the thin arm version nicely.
