Re: Lincoln Models.
An often overlooked series with some nice models!
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
Re: Lincoln Models.
Hard to find Jim even in Oz and NZ.

Yes indeed these boxes are for plastic copies of Lesneys. The only metal copies of the same early 1-75s Lesneys were made in Japan as far as I am aware
Re: Lincoln Models.
I only have three boxed Lincoln toys, but quite a few lose ones. Apart from paint colours there are at least three variations on each New Zealand model. Tread wheels with crimped axles, tread with push fit axles and lastly smooth wheels with push fit axles. Then some such as the land rover and jag have a figure, no figure but still hole for figure. I have one with flashing in the hole so know some were made with no figure and lastly no figure and hole for figure fulled in. The ones with Lincoln Matchbox box should all have tread and crimped axels.
IT is interesting that the later Hong Kong models with two colour paint went back to having figures.
Never posted a photo on this forum and do not have an online photo account. If any one wants to post pictures for me send me a message.

Re: Lincoln Models.
Nick i keep all my images at a width of 500 pixels and that means when someone looks at the post the wholeimage shows in it's entirety without having to move slidebars to see everything which is a bloody nuisance.nickjones wrote:Hi Matt.
