Tekno lorries from the 50's 60's.

Post by starni999 »

Hi all,
As if there weren't enough Pre 64 Dinky's still left for to get, thanks to my very good friend Ragnar in Sweden I've started collecting these wonderful Tekno lorries.....

A whole new world for me, and loads of variations, I absolutely adore them, and would love to see yours.

Hi Karl!
Sorry for the slow reply! These are the only ones I have, though a few more are on the way. I know nothing about these.
What is the story on the Coal lorry lettering, yours is in English mine in (?) Danish?

Tekno had an export business that supplied toys to high end department stores in UK (Harrods & Hamleys) , Germany & USA so international decal versions exist but are less common than local nordic countries versions

Hi all,
I got another couple to add to my fleet now, the Tuborg and Carlsberg Drays with trailers, they really are beautiful models....

Cheers Nick,
To be honest no they didn't! I have a good arrangement with my mate in Sweden and fair exchange, or swop, is no robbery!

Hi Karl,
Lovely couple of wagons there, an area I don't know much about, so it's great to find out about new variations.
