Interesting! I'm surprised we don't see more of these, what with the cross over to transitional s and using up old regular wheel parts. Having said that I guess many of the left over regular wheel part were just melted down and re-moulded.

This Mustang is a highlight for all collectors interested in transitionals. I think there must be some others if Lesney used RW and SF bodies the same time for the new range. Never seen before.

Looks completely genuine to my eyes -nice find - I expect there are more because we know some of these bodies were fitted to RW baseplates.Interesting that its in the later orange not the early issue tomato with white not red seats
