I only have the one De Tomaso - dug it out the other day for a look and realised it is the unpainted base version. I'd never given too much thought to the fact the most I've seen seem to have blue bases - is the unpainted base especially uncommon on this casting?
Cheers,
Gavin

Gavin, they pop up quite often on e bay so i wouldn't say that the unpainted base is a real HTF, that said your example is one of the best i have seen. Nice to have something different from the normal common.

Nice one Jason, This variation is very often seen with the wheels reversed.....why did it happen so often with this model and not with others??
Odd.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll have to go out and get one with a blue base now!
