It will go eventually. There is always a slight delay for some reason.

I've sent a couple of pm's which weren't received and when I checked later they weren't recorded in my sent items.

When I first saw this, I thought it said, "Is there a problem with PMS?" Well, yeah...

Yesterday, I sent two PMs to mrmoko, ( Garry ) and neither of them are in my out box or my message sent box, and that is after 24 hours. :?: :?:

That's how phpBB works - it will stay in Outbox so you can edit or delete it until the guy you sent the message to comes online and reads it. Then it will be automatically moved to Sent.

Cheers!

Thanks for the explanation RacingFreak. The system is a bit confusing to the old Forum users. Even though this site tells us we have no messages, I have found several there at times. For the first time last night it told me I had 2 messages, and Whoopee, I really did have 2 incoming replies. We will all survive this and adapt I am sure...... kwakers

You can pm a member just like the old forum by clicking on the pm icon or you can email them by clicking on the envelope icon next to it, Handy if you want to contact someone who is not a frequent visitor here.

I had seen the E Mail Icon and never really thought too much of using it Nick, Thanks for explaining it. The PMs are sailing along now, but for a couple of days I was blocked from sending any as a 'New Member'. Boy did they excite me a bit with that message. Two days later I tried again and answered the first greeting from a Forum member on this new site. All bugs are now out it would seem, but we have to get used to some differences with the Lefora system we were so used to. It seemed a bit simpler to us, but they are probably about the same after a few weeks of learning more about the points we are still learning about this one.......kwakers
