The proposed Ford Transit was illustrated in the 1990 collectors and dealers' catalogues in red
I have an example of the red one that was used for the illustration. Probbably because they couldn't agree licencing rights the red Suchard Transit was never issued
I know my photography is rubbish but I didn't reverse the photo of the ambulance - the lettering on the front of the toy is reversed to mimic the way some ambulance services accommodate the fact hat the sign is mist often read by a driver in his rear view mirror
Made in Macau it was released in this lilac Milka livery
It was later made in China in this bright Surf & Sun livery
and also released in the Construction mini seriesnumbered as CS-02
The Ford was also issued as an ambulance as K 168
