Major Pack M6a Pickfords

Post by Hans »

Below pictures of the real M6a Scammel Pickfords low loader. These were taken (not by me) on one of the Great Dorset Steam Fairs.
As a regular visitor every year I can see this real Matchbox as they are driving on the Heavy Haulage Ring.
Funny enough they are seldom driving together. Usually the trailer is hauled by some steam engines. Hence the two different pictures.

Yes, this is even more impressive to watch by the side of the Haulage Ring.
Anybody else visited the Great Dorset Steam Fair ?
It's so much more than a steam fair. Lots of oldtimer cars, lorries, buses etc. And a huge autojumble.
I also pick-up the odd Lesney models every year (I should not tell this really as I probably have to share the interest with other members this year, haha).
