I really wish Lesney would have never stopped using the metal rims.
Anyway another new one. Hope everyone likes it.
The M-4 has always been one of my favorites.
The rims are off two very beat up K-8 trailers. A little red rouge and they look better than new. Drilled and tapped the rivet posts for 2-56 fasteners. I think it gives a nice look. The fuel cell and battery boxes were also polished.
Lotta fun. Now I need to find a decent air brush and learn how to use it.

That's a great looking truck. I'm a big metal hub fan too.

Whenever I find K8 parts, I save them until I have all the pieces to make a restored model. I love the metal hubs so much, it would be hard for me to seperate them from the original model. Despite my phobia, I really love the combination you've created.

Glad you guys like it.

Tinman, I understand your phobia. Not to worry. Iv'e saved a few. I think this the best of the Kingsize models.
For this model I wanted it all Lesney. In the future I'll make my own rims.
Should you need any parts for a future K-8 let me know.

Thanks,

Jeff
