GHOSTY WOULD APPRECIATE THESE!!

Post by motorman »

These are not my cup of tea but a chap had a few of these on a table at the Falkirk swap meet at incredibly low prices (an average of £7). I am sure that they would have been of interest to several of the members here.

I took a couple of pictures, I am not aware if anything he had on display is of any real value. Perhaps someone will know.........where's Ghosty when you need him??? ;)

Riley in the box would have been a good buy if cheap enough and what is that painted Roller on with the big disc type thing - looks 3rd party made to me but interesting. Most are fairly common models but ok if you don't have them.

I have just gone through a large box of these which arrived today(monday) via courier from an auction house, mostly broke and damaged ones non boxed ,but i do have a question, did the perpetual calender ever come with a rolls on it,in the box there are two kings size versions and i know from micks matchbox memoires site there was a concorde one but can,t find another rolls version, models can be switched and with these being exposed screws there no telling if this has happened.
sorry not pics,my cameras charging ,i,m cooking dinner and its the day i visit my dad before i go to work,
Just remembered i saved the auction pics for the three lots

Just imagine a drooling grown man, looking at some pictures of a bunch of 'Giftware' 'Yesteryears' and...hey, you've found Ghosty!!!

Alex, I would like to see some seperate pictures of the normal Y-15 S. Ghost, mounted on that clock display and maybe a few of the other plated Rollers :) I know you won't disappoint, your picture taking skills are up there with the best of us, aren't they!!!

Cheers,
Ghosty.
