I have been going through my collection, and was looking at my GPs.
I noticed that one has an extended front bumper for tow guide but no guides on the base plate is this a common variation ?
I have 2 with no guides, 1 with bumper and base, 1 purple super fast with bumper and base plus 1 the mentioned above.

Cheers Scott

Hi Scott,

Not sure which one is the rarest. Here's a few.

Thanks Dan,

Old Photograph. Since found that one. I learned about that base plate from one of your posts. Much obliged.

Thanks for the replies guys, I never knew there was so many variations of so many of these models, and then so many have none ! :?
I do have a soft spot for the 64 Ponty GP, but that is a story for another day. lets just say I have spent some time behind the wheel
of one of these fine beasts.

Bit of an older thread this one, but I have the version with the bumper extension/without the tow guides too. It seems like it should be noteworthy on the 22c page but I don't know what effect it would have on the variation table.

...and see how the base edge beading is thicker on the left model.

Hello Scott, if you go to George.s 1-75 casting show and look at # 22, you will see quite a lot about the 22c Pontiac that members have posted on this model.
