Thanks Mick, do you know how often these turn-up?Moyboy wrote:'Made in England' base - its one of the 'stolen' Talbot yellow models - the ones left behind were over sprayed with green to stop the pilfering. The sunrise yellow was a much darker orangey yellow and all were made in Macau. Would be nice to know how many really made it out of the so called 'safe lockup' they used to store the Talbot yellow models !!
A fair few judging by the amount floating around. Were they nicked, or were they a "considered release" to buoy up the market? I wonder. Or is that just my usual cynicism coming to the surface again.Moyboy wrote: Would be nice to know how many really made it out of the so called 'safe lockup' they used to store the Talbot yellow models !!
You can also add the white and purple Y-10 bodies oversprayed in it's next colour...silver-grey and seperately silver-grey oversprayed purple baseplates, but I have never seen the two together built-up as one model.YYS4BOB wrote:These are about, but you have to look hard for them. Three different variations for the pedants. Over sprayed body + chassis, over sprayed body only, or over sprayed chassis only. Not the only model to exhibit over sprayed components. Blue PHV and green Dusie are others that spring to mind.
