Regular wheels, mint and boxed!

Post by 66alfa_gtv »

Here's the first listing from my personal collection of regular wheels. I'm thinning the herd a little in order to put some money down on a classic car. Shipping costs will be based on quantity purchased and final destination. Expect shipping in the US to cost $6.50 for priority with delivery confirmation and tracking. All prices in US dollars. Call out what you want and I will send payment information. Thanks!

I can't beleive you are selling these!!! If i were you i would hang onto them as they are in such wonderful condition. Classic cars are nothing but money pits and should be solely the property of brainless millionaires who have nothing better to spend their money on. Do yourself a great favour and put these little wonders back in that display cabinet where they belong!!. :D

Motorman, as a owner of three classics and non-millionaire, I am sympathetic to your words. However, I still have over 100 models I am keeping in the case. I have about 300 of these that I will be selling, so if you have any requests, let me know.

I am glad you are keeping some on your collection!!!

If the 300 models you are selling are of a similar condition then i am sure there will be lots of interest in them. Any Superfast??

I'm hanging on to the Superfast as well as about 100 regulars, many very rare.

Hi Alfa,it would be wise to offer these commons for about 20-30% lower cos right now there is less demand by collectors or investors, hence the glut in the markets and low end-prices.Other factors to consider is the weakening of some currencies worldwide. The current exchange rates may not be conducive in attracting certain overseas buyers so the right selling-price is imperative in order to dispose of your models.Just a thought.
Nice models though.All the luck.
Im in a similar situation whereby i wouldnt buy any "expensive" Htf's or pre-pros from the Uk or Eu countries right now due to our very weak Zar.I would rather buy gold bullion instead.

Appreciate the feedback. 20-30% lower, in some cases, is more than I would be willing to discount. Perhaps ebay might be the right place for my collection.

Dont worry about exchange rates - what actually matters to potential buyers is the total cost that they will have to shell out in their own currency - your prices may not fit the pockets of some holders of weak currencies especially if they have to pay import duties on top however there are countries like Canada and Norway where folks would regard these as bargain prices if you post marked as ´´gift´´ rather than ´´goods´´ .If you are a Facebook user I suggest you join one of the diecast swap sell pages with a lot of Canadian or Norwegian users!
The market price of gold does look rigged in recent months allowing buyers to make a killing when once the current excess supply has been soaked up by nations like China who are overloaded with US$$ that they cant buy anything with! Numi may just be tempted by some htf bargains from anywhere in the world if the bottom line total cost is a steal .........

Thanks...I am a member of Facebook, and am looking into user groups for this kind of thing. Of course, if anyone can recommend a good facebook group, please let me know. I am parting with around 300 of these regular wheels, all mint and boxed. If you are looking for something in particular, let me know. I'd much rather sell directly to collectors on a site like this.
