Prepro 7c Ford refuse truck

Post by nearlymint »

2014 has started with a bang for me, Red cab with a grey plastic base . Also with all the early features, and in pretty good condition.

Still cannot believe the condition as well, very happy.

Congratulations, that is very nice indeed :D
Don't want to argue but I'd rank the condition well above 'pretty good' too!

Dies it have a grey loader as well?.
It looks so much better with the grey base as these had a white painted grille panel in real life.
Great find Jason.

Hi Nick , yes the loader is painted grey and does look very good like this I must admit.
Ewan I am just getting a bit fussy, think its all these people showing nice minty models.

Hi Jason
really very nice model. It seems that you do not waste time collecting the standard models and you collect only PREPRO. :D

Thank you Antonin, i was very lucky with this one as I did think it was a repaint.
I have always wanted to see the very early version with no rear brace and no corner brace but I never expected it to be on a prepro.

This is the model Jason showed me at Windsor today, so am very privelidged to have held it and while not my speciality, I was happy to confirm it was special and is likely to be very early production or 'pre-pro' and yes, in the hand, it is in very good condition, another good score by Jason.
