Mod Rod Promo?

Need some help on this one,

I was happy to win this SF#1 Mod Rod on ebay last week as it was a variation that i did not have in my collection. I noted in the listing that there was a promotional leaflet pictured along with this car which suggested that it was sent to a customer of McVities as part of a promotion that they were running.

Other than the "Jaffa" promotional cars i was not aware that the SF#1 was ever part of a promotion.

Does anybody know wether the Mod Rod was ever part of a promotion or not and does this leaflet belong to this car?

Interesting and most probably genuine. Any product sold to kids could come with this sort of promo, I dont specifically remember this one but collect 10 empty wrappers and send 2 1st class stamps to cover postage type promos were common in the 70s!

Thanks Mick, i have to admit this one had me confused as the only promo that i was aware of was the widely known "Jaffa" promo. Thanks for your comments.
