Some of them have been stored badly and have surface corrosion, most obvious below the screen on the VW Camper. I've listed all the major niggles but not wonky wheels etc. If you have any questions or want more pics please ask.
My Superfast specific wishlist for the swappers out there is 1.) Any transitional model with decent paint. or 2.) Any of the UK trucks with decent paint (Bedford Horsebox/Transporter; Leyland Artic/Artic Tanker; Dodge Cattle Truck) or 3.) No 23 VW Camper with decent paint/lid
I don't expect much, if anyone wants the whole lot I'd swap it for 2 or 3 decent models off my list.
First Up it's the VWs The camper has some surface corrosion and a broken lid, the 1600TL is okay apart from the paint, the Volksdragon has no engine, the Dragon Wheels could be worse and the Flying Bug has no rear axle or wheels.
(In need of) Emergency Services The Merryweather has no bumper corners and cracked glazing, one of the Stretch Fetchas has a cracked screen, the Mercury Police is actually okay but has no decals and the Mercury Fire has corrosion and dropped glazing (driver nearly lying down)
Cars The Europa has a bust screen and tow hook, the Rolls has no screen, the 2 ISOs are door-less and bad glazing, the dark one has a rimless steering wheel and bust tow hook. I have a marginally better ISO in my shop if you're interested.
The Carabo has broken glazing and engine cover, the Marzal is ok, the 72 Jeep has no screen frame or spare tyre, has been repainted and is held together with a self tapper. The Jeep Hot Rod has no screen frame.
The Rest Pi-Eyed Piper, Piston Popper, Baja Buggy and the good paint Sea Fire are engine less. The engine in the rough Sea Fire ain't great. Woosh n Push has no screen, the screen in the Soopa Coopa is cracked. The Artic Tractor is great, the hovercraft is knackered and the Mod Tractor has bust exhaust and steering wheel.
Right, I'm off to get my 'Salesman Of The Year' award
